35 पैसे में छपता है 1 रुपए का नोट, जानें कितना है बाकी नोटों की छपाई का खर्च

नई दिल्ली. भारतीय बाजारों में बंद हो चुका एक रुपए का नोट नए साल से फिर से आपकी जेब में होगा। केंद्र सरकार दोबारा इसकी छपाई शुरू करने जा रही है। 1 जनवरी 2015 से इसकी छपाई फिर से शुरू होगी। करीब 20 साल पहले एक रुपए के नोट की छपाई बंद कर दी गई थी। वित्त मंत्रालय द्वारा कॉयनेज एक्ट 2011 में बदलाव के बाद फिर से एक रुपए का नोट छापने जा रही है। जानकारों के अनुसार कम मूल्‍य की राशि के नोट को छापने में सरकार को अधिक खर्च करना पड़ता है इसलिए छोटी राशि के नोटों का छपना बंद हो गया था।

जानिए क्यों बंद हुई थी छपाई

सिक्के आने से बंद हुई थी एक रुपए की छपाई

एक, दो व पांच रुपए के सिक्कों के चलन में आने के बाद सरकार ने इनके नोटों की छपाई को बंद कर दिया था। एक रुपए के नोट की छपाई नवंबर 1994 में बंद की गई थी। वहीं, दो रुपए के नोट की छपाई फरवरी 1995 में और पांच रुपए के नोट की छपाई नवंबर 1995 में बंद की गई थी। हालांकि, पांच रुपए के नोट को सरकार ने बाद में दोबारा छापना शुरू कर दिया था। अब सरकार ने एक रुपए के नोट की छपाई भी शुरू करने का फैसला किया है। वित्त मंत्रालय ने इसकी गजट अधिसूचना भी जारी कर दी है।

मुद्रण कारखाने में छपेगा एक रुपए का नोट

पहले की तरह इस बार भी एक रुपए के नोट की छपाई रिजर्व बैंक के मिंट के बजाय भारत सरकार के मुद्रण कारखाने में ही होगी। नया नोट मौजूदा वित्त सचिव राजीव महर्षि के हस्ताक्षर से जारी किया जाएगा।

पहले से बड़ा होगा आकार

एक रुपए के नोट का आकार पहले के मुकाबले थोड़ा बड़ा होगा। इसका आकार 9.7 गुणा 6.3 सेंटीमीटर का होगा और इसके शीर्ष पर भारत सरकार लिखा नजर आएगा। नोट पर मल्टीटोनल वाटर मार्क में बिना सत्यमेव जयते शब्दों के अशोक की लाट अंकित होगी। मध्य भाग में सामान्य तौर पर न दिखने वाली संख्या '1' प्रकाशित होगी। नोट के दाईं तरफ 'भारत' शब्द अंकित होगा।

गुलाबी और हरे रंग का होगा मिश्रण

सूत्रों की मानें तो इस बार छपने वाले एक रुपए के करेंसी नोट का अगला हिस्सा गुलाबी और हरे रंग के मिश्रण में होगा। हिंदी व अंग्रेजी भाषा में वित्त सचिव के हस्ताक्षरों के साथ 'भारत सरकार' शब्द और रुपए के प्रतीक चिन्ह के साथ नए एक रुपए के सिक्के की छवि भी नजर आएगी। नोट के निचले हिस्से में दाईं ओर नोट का नंबर होगा।

नोटः एक रुपए के नोट की छपाई बैंकर के अनुसार, 0.35 से 0.40 पैसे प्रति नोट पड़ती है।

Isis in Iraq: Video footage shows militants 'destroying ancient artefacts' in Mosul

Isis followers have released a propaganda video showing sledge-hammer wielding militants destroying artefacts in Iraq’s northern city of Mosul, in another example of the group's attempt to wipe out what it deems to be heretic.

Armed with hammers and drills in the Mosul Museum, the five-minute clip shows Isis members desecrate several large statues which are hundreds of years old.

The video, which has not been verified but appears to be genuine, then shows a black-clad man at a nearby archaeological site inside Mosul, drilling through and destroying a winged-bull Assyrian protective deity that dates back to the 7th-century BC.

'Jihadi John': Isis fighter named Mohammed Emwazi from west London

The British Isis militant suspected of appearing in videos showing the beheading of Western hostages has been named in reports as Mohammed Emwazi from London.

Emwazi, or 'Jihadi John' as he became known, is thought to have appeared wearing black robes and a balaclava in a series of disturbing videos depicting the killing of journalists and aid workers.

The families of Emwazi's alleged victims have called for him to be brought to justice, with the daughter of a murdered aid worker saying her family will not rest until there is a bullet between the killer's eyes.

The name 'Jihadi John' came after it was reported that hostages referred to the militant as 'John' during their time captive.

Rail Budget 2015: No Increase in Passenger Fares, No New Trains Announced

Suresh Prabhu in an very unusual move, announced no new trains in his Railway Budget today. He also said that there will be no increase in passenger fares, disappointing markets, which tanked 300 points.

In a 70-minute consumer-focused speech that carried the distinct imprint of Prime Minister Narendra Modi - Mr Prabhu referenced his pet schemes like Swachch Bharat, Digital India and Make in India - the rail minister emphasised that the "vicious cycle of underinvestment" must end in the bleeding Railways. 

PM Modi tweeted, "#RailBudget2015 is a forward looking, futuristic & passenger centric budget, combining a clear vision & a definite plan to achieve it," also expressing delight that, "for the 1st time there is a concrete vision for technology upgradation & modernisation of the Railways."

The Rail Budget was watched keenly for pointers to what the Union budget - billed as a make-or-break presentation on Saturday - will hold.

Yoga will bring down rapes, claims BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi

New Delhi: If yoga comes into the life of every common people, it will help in bringing down incidents of rape in the country, veteran BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi said.

In a remark that may spark a controversy, he also said that Muslims do yoga five times in a day and termed "Prophet Mohammad as the greatest yogi".

"I believe if yoga comes into the life of common people, then the daily incidents of rape, I would not say, they will cease to exist, but there will definitely be a decrease in them. It will create a new way of thinking amongst men and women. Changing the way one feels for a human body that the body is such a machine which nature has given us for some larger work, people's attention will go towards this," he said.

He was speaking during a seminar on the "The Iyengar way - Yoga for the new millennium". Referring to an experiment done in New York on transcendental medication introduced by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Joshi said that when a vice chancellor of a university reviewed it, it was found that the crime rate in New York had come down while the inmates in jails had undergone change in

their behavior.

"Our Muslim brothers do yoga five times in a day. The postures of 'namaz' in that two or three postures, even you will be able to tell (which are they). That is why I think Mohammad sahab was a great yogi. As this prescription is of praying to god connecting it to yoga, he could not have done it without practising yoga," he said.

Referring to the government's focus on skill development, Joshi said that that there should be coordinated group between various ministries including Ayush, Education, Health and Skills which would see how yoga can be utilised in ones social and economic life.
